Yes. Basically, how do we know that the device is in stable condition with the connections.
Steps 1: we set the SMSC centre number by sending the message:#SET0007:0000,+XXXXXXXXXXXX* "+XXXXXXXXXXXX" is the SMSC number
Steps 2: then we set the control centre number giving this message:#SET0003:0000,+XXXXXXXXXXXX*
Steps 3: after this we ask for a immediate report with this message:#SET0005:0000,1*
AVL-2000 unit will search for the SMSC no. automatically. Like in Taiwan we do
not need to set the SMSC no., maybe in other country you might need to set up, depending on the GSM company.
AVL unit will automatically search for the SIM card SMSC number, as soon as you insert the SIM card.
ACC (DC+12V) is the power source say for example your battery or the connections in the car where you insert the key to start up your car, it is a connection to a power source of 12V which can come from your car batterys.
Also this output is for connection to your other car alarms which also has power source, if the car alarm goes off then the power Voltage changes thus giving command to the AVL-2000 to send warning to the Control Center.
For the Control Center, the GSM Modem SIEMENS TC35T can be used, you can also consider GSM Modems from Wavecom, Cellon. With the GSM Modem connected to the PC installed with the Tracking software, you have a Control Center.
