Bimorph Actuator

Description
Our company has been specializing in manufacturing Bimorph Actuator for many years.
A solderable conductive central electrode is bonded with two piezoelectric ceramic plates. Both piezoceramic plates are poled in the same direction (Parallel Poled) as shown in the attached side view drawing. The polarity of the bimorph actuator is positively marked on the top electrode as shown in the attached plan view drawing. The surface of the bimorph actuator is coated with special protection varnish.

Application
A piezoceramics flexure element, which achieves approximately 20% greater displacements when, compared to conventional piezoceramics Bimorph elements.
These advanced piezoceramics elements are suited for applications as actuators, fuel injection valves, sensors, optical positioning, reading aids for the blind, textile machines and a host of others.
