Based on the patented GeoHelix® technology, the SL1204 integrates a high performance, optimised gain, low-noise amplifier with Sarantel's second generation GeoHelix® antenna for receivers requiring an active input. The SL1204 provides typical 18dBIC gain and has been optimally designed to work best with the latest generation of GPS chipsets. Like the other GeoHelix® Sarantel antennas the SL1204 carries the same excellent performance features and can be deployed in an external "stub-style" configuration or embedded into applications easily due to its excellent isolation properties.

The SL1206 provides the typical 25dBIC gain and other crucial performance metrics while maintaining the same footprint and offering improved noise and current consumption figures when compared to the original S-Type antenna.
